Speaker Bio
Minneapolis-based Jessica Cordova Kramer is the executive producer of the “Pod Save the People” podcast, which has won multiple Webby awards. She began her professional career as a Wall Street lawyer who moonlighted on pro bono domestic-violence and refugee cases, and has worked for Teach For America and Teach For All for more than a decade. More recently, she has been the board chair for Green Card Voices, an immigrant storytelling organization. Cordova Kramer lost her brother Stefano to a long battle with addiction, subsequently co-creating Lemonada with Stephanie Wittels Wachs, who also lost her brother to an overdose. Its goal is, she says, “to make shows that help people get out of bed in the morning, that help people deal with the hardest shit in their real lives."
